"The Wheel of Dharma......"

January 28, 2015

"The Wheel of Dharma is the translation of the Sanskrit word, "Dharmacakra."  It's similar to a revolving wheel on a cart that symbolizes the Buddha's teaching as it continues to be spread like that of the infinity circle, endlessly.......

The eight spokes on the wheel are the  "Noble Eightfold Path of Buddhism" that are Buddha's most important Way of Practice:

The Eightfold Paths are:

1. Right view

2. Right thought

3. Right speech

4. Right livelihood

5. Right effort

6. Right mindfulness

7. Right meditation

The joy and beauty of enlightenment is allowing yourself to be open to the intimacy of truth.  One of the last teachings of Buddha was for mankind to make himself a light and for us to keep a pure mind with transiency a continual forethought by not being entangled with greed or impurities of the soul, spirit and thought.

"Be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing if your mind."
~Jesus Christ
