"Thank You!"

April 30, 2015

Luke 17:11-19,

And it came to pass, as He went to Jerusalem, that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.  And as He entered into a certain village, there met Him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:  And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.  And when He saw them, He said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests.  And it came to pass that, as they went, they were cleansed.  And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks; and he was a Samaritan.  And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed: but where are the nine?  There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

And He said unto him:

Arise, go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole.

Many are called, but few are chosen!  God has chosen to use me as an example of his miracle working power to heal.  As of today I am a 3 time Breast Cancer Survivor!  I had surgery today and as of today I've had radical bi-lateral mastectomies......

I'm sitting here, healed with a third chance at life and able to tell my story.

My test is now my testimony and my mess is now my message and for that; I lift my head to thee O' God and I say: Thank You!

Hallelujah & Amen!

My Love To You All Is Eternal!

"You Will!"

April 29, 2015

Touched by the song:

"You Will!"

Sometimes it's not easy
It's easy to give up
You do your best, seems like your best isn't good enough
Don't let that stop you, stop it and its traps
Keep moving forward, you don't have to look back

Break down the doors
Break through the walls
You already have it all

Own every breath
Own every minute
Who lives a life that's got no limits
Only one thing you need to know
Just never think, just never think you've won, and you will,
and you will, and you will

No need to give in
There's nothing you can't take
Cause what you're made of wasn't made to break
You're even stronger, stronger than you know
You could stand together or stand on your own

All you can dream
All you can plan
It's already in your hand

Own every breath
Own every minute
Who lives a life that's go no limits
Only one thing you need to know
Just never think, just never think you won't, and you will, and you will
and you will, and you will

You got no fear to scout
So leave the life you're born to live
Living my positive

Own every breath
Own every breath

Who lives a life that's got no limits?"

"Yes You Can!"

April 28, 2015

We can do anything we put our minds to do!  I AM HEAR TO SAY, "YES YOU CAN!"

As wholly wasted, wholly vain,
If, rising on its wrecks, at last
To something nobler we attain."

"Change?"

April 27, 2015

Change:  1. to make different in form.  2. to become different, transformed.  3. a transformation or modification.

It's easy for us to "Say" we want to change or that we want change, but when it comes to changing well now that's a horse of another color!

In order for us to change we have to first admit the necessity for change.  Is there something about yourself that you want to change?  Does your life reflect or mirror that which you want it to be?  If not, are you prepared to "Do" what you need to do to "Change?"

They say that a leopard can't change it's spots, but a person can change self-defeating thoughts, behaviors and actions.

We must identify the actions and beliefs that keep us stuck in the muck and mire of a victim mentality and eradicate them from our minds because they produce limitations we've programmed ourselves to believe as truths. We have the "Power Within" to change and create our lives, bodies, and minds to have and be whatsoever we want our lives to be.

The definition of insanity is to continue doing what you've always done and think that things are going to be different and change.  That will never happen, change starts from within.

We have to take a personal inventory of ourselves from within and implement the change that's necessary to foster growth and creativity by making modifications for transformation!

Take Care My Angels,

Loving you more and more forever and ever!

"Someday?"

April 26, 2015

Someday:  1. At an indefinite future time.

As you probably know by now that 2015 is the "Year of Now!" for me.  I'm truly walking, living and thriving in Now.

We must live in the Now and have Now Prosperity!

Say "Yes" to living your life on "Purpose."  Daily I awake with expectations of Bigger, Better, Greater.  I go to the mail box with the sole purpose of Bigger, Better, Greater.

My mind is set to evolve as a bigger, better, greater person both inside and out.  I am doing my work like Iyanla Vanzant says.  We must do our work!

Our desire is to be the best representation of the best Human Beings that we can be.  Our daily walk is fueled and guided with us being good, and kind, and loving and healthy and strong.  Our growth is to have the best intellectual and spiritual life that we can give ourselves by being perpetual learners of all things good and healthy and loving, and by doing these things they give us strength and courage.

Set your thermostat of life at room temperature.  Don't have it set too high, or set it too low. Keep it at a temperature that will allow you to be productive and at your best in order for you to be your best selves.  And yes, there will be times when we'll have to step out of our comfort zones and dive into new territory that would require us to turn up the heat by being focused and alert you'll know when it's time to stretch yourselves in order thrive victoriously!

What I've learned is that we have to take control of our destiny in order to enhance our lives.  We all have challenges and their are times that we have feelings of inferiority but we can't let that prevent us from living in the NOW.

If I've learned anything from being diagnosed with cancer 3 times that is we can't live in the "Someday" of life.

  • Someday I'll take a vacation.
  • Someday, I'll learn a new language.
  • Someday, I'll lose 20 pounds.
  • Someday, I'll apologize.
  • Someday, I'll be a better person.
  • Someday, Someday, Someday, etc., etc., etc.

That is a death sentence. Living in someday will kill your joy, your spirit and quite frankly "Someday" may never come!

"Now" is the time to take your vacation, enroll in a class and learn a new language in order to open yourselves up to other cultures, people and opportunities.  If you find you have aught with another person, be the better person, apologize, live in love.  Go to the community center and learn how to Salsa dance, take a hip hop class, find a way to make your "Someday" today!

Take Care My Angels,

Love Always,

La La Lolita

"Power is the strength and the ability to see yourself through
your own eyes and not through the eyes of another.  It is being able
to place a circle of power at your own feet and not take power from someone
else's circle."
~ Lynn V. Andrews

"Until one is committed, there is hesitancy,
the chance to draw back,
Always ineffectiveness.
Concerning all acts of initiative and creation,
There is one elementary truth
The ignorance of which kills countless ideas
And endless plans:
That the moment one definitely commits oneself, then
providence moves too.
All sorts of things occur to help one that would never
otherwise have occurred.
A whole stream of events issues from the decision,
Raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen
incidents and meetings and material assistance,
Which no one could have dreamed would come their way.
Whatever you can do or dream you can,
Begin.
Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.
Begin it now."

"Fun On The Run!"

April 25, 2015

Living and Laughing is one prescription that I take from the "Great Creator" as a vital necessity to having a healthy, loving, life of longevity & spiritually.  I've come to the realization that we can be alive and yet; not living.  After being diagnosed with cancer three times and now having an empty nest at home, I'm finding that now I have to live my life to the fullest wholistically.

Daily I take a dose of laughter.  I love to laugh, sometimes I make myself laugh.  Laughing is one of my favorite things to do.  I Really, Really, Really love to Laugh!  As I'm writing I have this Big Cheesy Grin on my face!!

Take the time to laugh my friends by finding something that you enjoy doing, watching, listening to, people you enjoy being with, etc.  Don't let anyone steal your joy!  There is a such thing as joy snatchers, they will come and literally take the "J" out of "Joy."  Don't give them the satisfaction.

Go laugh.........."

."Unleash Your Purpose with Passion!"

April 23, 2015

Purpose:  1. the reason for which something exists or is done, made, etc.  2. an intended or desired result; aim; goal.  3. determination; resoluteness.  4. the subject in hand; point at issue.  5. practical result or effect; to intend; design; resolve; intentionally, to the point.

Passion:  1. compelling emotion.  2. strong amorous feeling; love.  3. strong sexual desire; lust.  4. a strong fondness, enthusiasm, or desire for something; the object of one's passion.

Passionate:  1. having, compelled by, or ruled by intense emotion or strong feeling; fervid; zealous.  2. easily aroused to or influenced by sexual desire; ardently sensual.  3. expressing, showing, or marked by intense or strong feeling; emotional; intense, vehement.

Karen Ravn says; "Only as high as I reach can I grow, only as far as I seek can I go, only as deep as I look can I see, only as much as I dream can I be!"

We all know that we have a "Purpose" in life, sometimes the challenge is knowing what our "Purpose" is?  For those of us who are blessed enough to have found our "Purpose" we know that the "Power" lies in the execution of our "Purpose" with "Passion!"

If we're passionate about our jobs then it's not work, it's what you love to do.  Our purpose is our reason that we exist, it's the goals we've set for ourselves and we're determined to reach them.

When we pursue our purpose vehemently with compelling, fervid emotion we will unleash the "Power of Passion" and nothing will stop us from achieving what we desire!

The bible tells us; "Now to him who, by the action of his power that is at work within him, is able to carry out his purpose and do super abundantly, far over and above all that he dares to ask or think, infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams."

Find what gives you fulfillment.  Pursue it with passion and you will have the power to unleash the desires of your heart!

Benjamin Franklin wrote: Dost thou love life, then do not squander time, for that's the stuff life is made of.  Make every day count.  Everyday is a brand new beginning for us to make the most of it.  We can't afford to let one minute go by because of the importance of the day and what we choose to do with it.  We don't have tomorrow to look forward to and yesterday doesn't exist anymore!

Our Power of Purpose and Passion is Now!  Unleash yours Today!

"Suppose?

April 22, 2015

Suppose:  1. to assume (something), as for the sake of argument.  2. to consider (something) as a possibility or plan.  3. to believe or assume as true; take for granted.  4. to think or hold as an opinion; to require logically; imply; presuppose.

Ugh Oh!  I've been thinking??????  I was sitting here in designer mode, creating a a necklace and started thinking; "Who am I making this necklace for?  What I mean is, I know that I have an online boutique called, "Lolita's Loft."  And, I know the vision for the boutique is to share my jewelry line with anyone who desires to have some of my unique pieces, usually the pieces are one of a kind and each one is inspired by my innate ability to create in an abstract fashion.

Now the reason I'm asking "Who am I making this necklace for? is because I've been online for over a month now, sharing with ALL of my Family & Friends and yet not one single person has purchased anything from me........

As I'm having these thoughts go through my head, I decide to change the channel and go to my dvr and see what have I recorded that I haven't had the opportunity to watch because I'll let that play in the background while I work.

Low and behold I record a show called "Leading Women" and wouldn't you know it, "Tori Burch" & "Diane Von Furstenberg" are being featured on the show tonight.  And yes they tell their story of what it takes to be two of the most successful women in the history of the fashion industry!

Of course I hear them speak to the challenges of starting out in the industry and how they had to have the strength to over come the obstacles that will present itself as women in business, particularly business women in fashion.

So it has me thinking, suppose Tori or Diane would of given up at the first obstacle or challenge that presented itself as business owners?  They wouldn't have gone on to become billionaires and have foundations that support other women entrepreneurs to help them get started in business.

Suppose Tori or Diane gave up when the going got tough?  Suppose they decided that they were too young or too old to start a business or for that matter, suppose they didn't have a vision at all?

Suppose they didn't Dream a Dream?

Suppose for a moment, just a moment that I was your "Fairy God Mother" and I was sent here to grant you the desires of your heart.  Suppose I said to you that you could have anything in this world that you want and all you had to do was ask me; "What would you ask me for?"  "What is the vision you have for yourself?" And, "What is it that you Dare to Dream?"

Well, I'll tell you.  You can have anything in this world that you dare to dream, have the vision to see and the courage to ask?

The key is that you must believe that you can have it and once you do that, then you have to put one foot in front of the other and, "Do whatever is necessary" to make your vision, your dream a reality.
Once you see it, dream it, believe it, then dare to achieve it!  The Universe will align itself like your "Fairy God Mother or God Father" and conspire to grant you all the desires of your heart by being there opening door after door after door!  You must put your "Faith" into action!

Suppose I believed the doctors report and rolled over and died without getting a second, third and sometimes fourth opinion regarding my health that lead me to take the action steps of Faith and do the research necessary to get the best medical care and treatment that kept me alive!!!!

So, I'll keep seeing, I'll keep believing, I'll keep Daring to Dream Greatly because when the time does come, I'll be ready with the inventory for my customers that want a piece of designer jewelry custom made by the "Bijoux by Elle Couture Collection" designed by "Lolita Jackson!"

Suppose I stop tonight because I allow myself to believe the lie, the lie that would tell me what good does it do for me to keep designing jewelry when no one is buying it?  Suppose I took down my website and stop blogging because nobody cares about what I'm talking about?  Suppose I stopped being a "Walking Woman That Wins?"

Suppose, just suppose that I'm on the right track like Santiago in the "Alchemist" and when I wake up tomorrow I'll have found my "Personal Legend!"

Suppose, just suppose that Oprah, or Ellen, or Whoppi, or Robin Roberts, or Beyonce' or Rhianna, or Steve Harvey wanted to by for his wife, or suppose that you my Angels decided that the "Bijoux by Elle Couture Collection" had exactly what they've been looking for!

Guess What?  I'm Ready!  I'm ready to put one foot in front of the other to do EVERYTHING THAT GOD HAS EVER PUT IN MY MIND OR HEART TO DO!!!!!

So, I gotta go now so that I can keep designing Yall's (smile) designer pieces and prepare my website to be bought out!

Take Care My Angels!

Love You Muchy, Much!

Sincerely,

La La Lolita Lovely

"R. E. S. T."

April 21, 2015

R. = Relax  *  E. = Empower  *  S. = Sleep  *  T. = Therapeutic

Sometimes we can go, go, go so much that we don't take time out to R.E.S.T., and by not resting we don't allow our bodies to relax and rejuvenate.  If we take the time out for some rest and relaxation we will find that not only is it therapeutic for our minds, body and souls, but it will also give us a sense of empowerment and energy.

Exercising can clear our minds giving clarity that will allow us to carry out the day to day tasks with minimal stress and anxiety.  Sleep is the cornerstone, the foundation to optimal health, wellness and an overall wholistic way of living a care free and balanced life.

If you find yourself getting a little edgy, short tempered or maybe just some small things that you notice on a day to day basis that you may need a little tweeking to give you the strength and agility you need to stay sharp and focused.

Try practicing the 4 steps of R.E.S.T. See if any or all of these steps will help you be your best you!

Take Care Beautiful Angels,

Stay Strong,

Love Always,

"Yes, I'm spoiled
I know
Foil not my flow
Manna from heaven
Raindrops of love
Stops
No never
Sweet the smell
Bread unleavened
Pouring down the shaft
The path
Where juices flow
You desire
Devour the flower
My garden the den
Of

The river
Parting
Your Rod
Your Staff

Tranquility

"Going Fishing........!"

April 18, 2015

Today I went fishing!  It's that time of the year for me again and it was great!  Being out in the sunshine coming in contact with people, inhaling the summer smells of grills blazing and kettle corn poppers popping kernels was wonderful!

I have a saying that I used to say when I was a practicing "Religious Christian."  I used to say that I have to catch the fish before I try and clean the fish, meaning "sinner."

The reason I say that I was a practicing "Religious Christian" is that I was sooooo religious that I was no earthly good.

Now, I do believe that catching fish first is the best practice or belief to have for any human being, but; due to my religious hang up it stifled my ability to be an effective fisherman.

I truly believed in one way that inhibited my ability to accept people as they are with their own denominations, spiritual practices, etc;.

Thank God for DELIVERANCE!  I now have the ability to LOVE any and everybody irregardless of what they do or don't do with their personal lives.......

I have a Kettle Corn business and EVERYDAY that we go out into the highways and by-ways to be in public and come in contact with people is an opportunity to go fishing.  I'm not trying to fish for people to recruit for any church or for my beliefs but I am fishing so to speak to be a beacon of light to any and every person that I come in contact with,  I truly believe that if I can share a smile, a hug, or give someone a sample of kettle corn or even give someone a bag because I know that if they had the money they would pay for it, then my day as a fisherman of light has been a day of effective ministry.  Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee and say Simon Peter and Andrew and he told them to "come follow me, and I will make you fishers of men!"

Putting my light of love out on a bushel and not hiding it behind the walls of my home or even in a church house is my truth and my purpose here on this earth.

Today, I know that I've been called to be a "Beacon of  Light" by being the "Church by the Side of The Road" sharing the Love of God by being his hands extended in any way that God deems necessary meeting people just as they are and exactly where they are!

Take Care My Angels!

Love Always,

La La Lolita Lovely!

"Lolita is the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.  Lolita is to let her light so shine before men, that they may see her good works, and glorify Lolita's Father which is in heaven."

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?" Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

"God's Word Flows Through My Bloodstream!"

April 17, 2015

I know that I'm Blessed & Highly Favored by God.  I also know that I have a purpose and plan for my life!  My steps has been ordered by the Lord.

People ask me how did you get cured of Cancer three times? I believe in the "Power of Prayer!  I want to share some of the prayers I pray........

God's word literally flows through my bloodstream.  We must speak God's word when we pray, additionally; we must believe that praying God's word will affect change in our lives.

"Heavenly Father, your word is a part of me and it flows in my bloodstream through every cell of my body with transformation & restoration power.  Heavenly Father as I speak your word it will become flesh and heal my body so that it will function in the perfection in which you created it to function."

"Father, I thank you for your healing manifestation that has the authority to cast out all sickness and all disease."

"Your word says that where two or more are gathered together in my name touching and agreeing on anything that they shall ask, there I AM in the midst of them!"
With that prayer I ALWAYS find a prayer partner that I KNOW is a prayer warrior who will AGREE with me and stand in the gap with me believing that whatsoever we shall ask we will have in Jesus' name, Amen!

I Love You, there are more prayers that I pray, I just wanted to share some of them with you.  I don't know who this is for but believe me if you are going through a sickness or anything else in your life that you need a transforming miracle from God.  Pray the prayers that I just shared with you.

God is not a God that he should lie,  In fact his word says he can't lie, he takes it a little further and says for us to remind him of his word and to test him to see if it is truth?

Take Care,

With Blessings and Love,

Sincerely,

La La Lolita Lovely

"I Am Dancing!!!"

April 16, 2015

Dance:  1. to move one's feet or body, or both, rhythmically in a pattern of steps, esp. to the accompaniment of music.  2. to leap, skip, etc., as from excitement or emotion; move nimbly or quickly.  3. to bob up and down;

Dance to another tune:  1. to change one's behavior, attitudes, etc.

"I hope you still feel small
when you stand beside the ocean
Whenever one door closes
I hope one more opens
Promise me that you'll give faith
a fighting chance
And when you get the choice
to sit it out or dance

I Hope You Dance!!!"

Oprah said that Dr. Maya Angelou sent her a care package once and in it was a cd that included the song, "I hope you dance!"

I've been listening to that song lately thinking about Dr. Maya Angelou and the relationship she had with Oprah and how special that must of felt to Oprah to get that care package and how of all the poems that Dr. Angelou has written, all the books and songs she sang.  Oprah will forever dance!

I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Maya Angelou, I even have a picture of the two of us together and I also have some parting "Words of Wisdom" from the Dr. Angelou.  She told me to "stand straight up," while she had her hand in the middle of my back.  She also said, "never let them see you with your head hanging down, stand tall, stand tall!"  I too will never forget those words. To this day, I walk with my head up, and no matter what I'm going through, I put my face on EVERY DAY and I stand tall! I stand tall!

I Too Dance.  Every single day I dance for no apparent reason to anyone else but myself.  You see I have a reason to dance.  God has shown me that I am special.  To heal me of cancer three times, I have a reason to dance.  The ocean is my place of solitude and I know that there is always an open door for me to go into.

As long as I have breath in my body I will fight the good fight of faith and yes, (did you hear me say yes?) and yes, I said yes, every chance I get, Lolita Arnez will not sit,

I my dear will choose to DANCE!!!

     Loving You More Than Forever,
And Forever More I'll Always Love You!!!"

"Life In Speaking Words!!"

P.S.

I'm turning in right now, not feeling well, I apologize for the short commentary.  I owe you more, I'll make up for this tomorrow!

"To Be or Not To Be?"

April 14, 2015

You've heard the saying "To Be or Not To Be?"  It's more like a question than a saying.  My question that I ask myself on a daily basis is, "Lolita, are you going to be or not?"  I keep that question and saying in the forefront of my mind because I know if I don't, I can get comfortable and complacent and as the other saying goes, "Ain't Nobody Got Time For That!"

Daily, we must choose to make the most out of our days and be the best that we can be because the choice is ours to make.  It's a mindset.  We have to make up our minds to put our best foot forward.

What has God called you to do?  What is it that's burning on the inside of you?  If you knew that you couldn't fail what would you do?  What is holding you back?  Is it fear?

Dr. Susan Jeffers says for us to "Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway!"

Fear can make us stagnate, we have "Divine Dominion and Power" over our lives to be and do whatever we can envision in our minds.  What are some of the things that you fear?  Some of us fear starting new things, or making a move in our lives.  We tell ourselves lies like we're too old, what good would it do to change now?

In the bible Nehemiah wasn't afraid of anything or any man.  He said in, (Nehemiah 6:11) "Should such a man as I flee or run and hide?"  I don't think so.  We are not to run and hide, nor fear.  God told Jeremiah to "Be not afraid of their faces for I am with thee."  The children of Israel wandered around in the dry desert and died because they believed the lie, the report of giants in the land that was promised to them.  They told Moses that they were like grasshoppers, forgetting how they got there in the first place, by miracle after miracle.

We must ask ourselves, how did we get this far in our lives?  If when we wake up every morning and we open our eyes and draw in air to breathe then it's a blessing and a miracle!  It's proof that we have the power to possess the land!

Make up your mind.  Choose to follow your dreams.  Dream Big Dreams.  Decide that you're going to be a doer!

Don't sit around contemplating, and day dreaming about the coulda, woulda, shoulda.  Be the one that Dares Greatly!

And, if you fail at your first attempt, then at least you fail while trying and like Dr. Les Brown says:

"If you have to fall, fall on your back looking up because as long as you're looking up, you can get up!!!!!"

"Super Successful Sunday!"

April 12, 2015

Has you ever found yourself in a situation where it appears that your life is falling apart?  Have you looked up and seen that Humpty Dumpty has fallen down and fallen into a gazillion pieces?  On the outside it appears like my life has fallen apart.  I AM DEEP in a Job situation.  Literally, it appears that I'm broken open.......

However; I can't explain it but my soul still feels like I feel an abundance of rain!!  I feel like my blessing is in the palms of my hands but I just can't see them yet!

I have unshakable, unwavering faith........  I don't know when, where or how?  I just know that I am blessed and highly favored.  The devil can bring it on, bring it on.  I don't care what happens I Will Never Curse God.  I don't understand it but I still know that God is it with me.

If I can be of encouragement to someone who has their whole world falling apart and can't seem to move, trust God.  Find your faith, stand on it, hold on to it and be steadfast in your truth.

I feel so good inside of my soul.  I have a feeling of utter joy!  I am wanting to shout out to the world that God Is Good.

If you can't find that good good in your personal situation, go out and make someone else feel good, that ALWAYS work for me.  I know it will work for you too.

Take Care Everyone,

Be Still and Know!

Loving you more,

La La Lolita Lovely

"Breathing Space....."

April 11, 2015

Breathing Space, when I watch "Super Soul Sunday's" on the Oprah Winfrey Network she has a segment called "Breathing Space" in which she captions different things that are inspirational where other people go or do that allows them to have their time, their moment to breathe, to inhale and exhale their life.

I've thought about my own breathing space, where do I go?  Where is my breathing space?

For me, my breathing space is the Ocean.  I've always been attracted to the ocean, the waves, the sand on the beach, the rocks in the sand, on and on.  But I think the most I get from being at the beach is the sound and smell of the salt water,  When I get close to the ocean and I hear the sound of that water pounding against the sand on the beach I know I'm home.  I know that I'm in my breathing space, my space of solitude and comfort.

Do you have a breathing space? Where is your breathing space?  What kind of joy and fulfillment to you get from your space and what do you do in your space?

We all need a breathing space, a place that calls your name and you know in the pit of your spirit that you have to answer the call.

"What I Know For Sure"

April 9, 2015

Oprah Winfrey wrote a book called "What I Know For Sure?"  In the book she tells of different things and experiences she's had in her life that she knows for sure.  Oprah was stumped by the question many years ago when she was in an interview and she was asked that very question, "Oprah, what do you know for sure?"

Up until then Oprah hadn't really thought about what she knew for sure, which left her with something to ponder and the question went to be a column in her magazine, and now she's published a book with excerpts from parts of her column and her life.

I have the audio version of the book and the book itself.  I love to read the book and ride in my car and listen to Oprah talk about the things she knows for sure.  Of course I've thought about the things that I know for sure and like Oprah I was stumped when thinking about the question.  I've thought how would I answer that question if asked, "Lolita, what do you know for sure?"

Well, this I know for sure is that today in my life I know that I am Loved.  It's taken me a long time to know that for sure.  It's taken me half a century to even feel like I'm loved and today I know for sure that I AM LOVED!

I'm surrounded by a core group of people that love me and I love them.  The bible says that wisdom is the principle thing, but  when you feel love, love feels like the principle thing.

If you were asked the question, "What do you know for sure?"  Do you know how you would answer it?

I admonish you to take some time to think about what you know for sure and spread the gratuity.

I Love You.  Take Care Always,

La La Lolita Lovely,

"When God Nod's"

April 7, 2015

Confirmation:  1. the act of confirming.  2. something that confirms as a corroborative statement or piece of evidence.

Things will happen in my life that will let me know that I'm on the right track and headed in the right direction.  Sometimes I may be thinking about something and then someone or something will add corroborative evidence that confirms what I was thinking.

When that happens, I call those moments my God Nods.  God's way of nodding his head at me saying you were right, Lo, or it's okay Lo, or just a nod to let me know that what I'm thinking and feeling is exactly what I'm supposed to be thinking and feeling.

Other times when I get a confirmation I'm completely flabbergasted!  I have to sit back and say whoa!!!  What you talkn bout Willis?  Sometimes, even though it's confirmation, it's also a WOW moment, I just have to sit back and sit on it for a minute or two.  Just like tonight, the latter happened, it's thrown me for a loop!  I had a Wow, really?  Like that?  I'm not sure what it all means yet, yet I know that I'm at the right place, at the right time spiritually..........

I was reading my book about Buddha and about Buddha's life.  I want to know who is Buddha?  What is Buddha?  Not knowing much about Buddha I have to start from the beginning.  As I'm reading about Buddha's history, Buddha's story, I'm learning that Buddha came from a place called "Shakya clansmen" in the southern foothills of the Himalayas.  They had a King, Shuddhodana Gautama, and a Queen, Maya.  They had no children for 20 years until Queen Maya had a dream about a white elephant that entered her womb through the right side of her chest and she became pregnant.  The custom was for the Queen to give birth at her parents' home.  She rested at a place called Lumbini Garden amongst the beautiful Ashoka blossoms.  The Queen was so enamered with the blossoms that she reached her arm to pluck a branch and as she did the Prince was born!  The story goes on to say that Heaven and Earth rejoiced at the birth of the Prince.  This is sounding vaguely familiar to me, then I read that the birth of the Prince was on April 8!

That's when I had to say WHOA......Wait A Minute, today is April 8.  In my world, my life, where I'm from and how God Nod's at me, Lolita.  I recognize that there is some significance to this whole thing, I'm on the right track, on the right road, and because it's a little much.  I'm going to sit on this tid bit overnight and pick back up tomorrow...........

When God Nod's, pay attention, sometimes it's just a nod, and other times he may be wanting your attention.  It's up to you to have the wisdom to know the difference!

Love Always,

"Love, The Common Denominator!"

April 5, 2015

When it's all said and done, Everything is Love!

Love is Energy.  Love is Action.  Love is Kind.  Love is Patient.  Love is Longsuffering.

                                                                     Love Is.............................

I Corinthians 12 & 13, gives some insight and wisdom on love and how love is the foundation to the key of life.  This book of the bible speaks about love being our spiritual gift of grace and how love is the root to the manifestations of the spiritual illuminations of Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Healing, and Prophecy.

Love is our Super Natural Power to Happiness, Health, Wealth, Peace and Prosperity.  Without love our bodies will dry up from the inside out.  Love is like a fragrant ointment.  When it's poured from it's carafe (the body) it releases Health, Wealth, Peace and Prosperity.

Have you ever seen a plant that is dying, some of the leaves have fallen off and of the ones that remain the leaves are brown and dried up?  On the surface the plant looks hopeless, but on the inside is the roots of the plant, and yes, the roots are dry also, but if you take that plant and decide that you are going to love it by nourishing it with a little TLC (Tender, Loving, Care), you will bring that plant back to life.  Give it some water, sunlight, air, fertilizer and love on that plant, talk to that plant and watch that plant spring back to life because the plant was rooted and grounded in Love!!!

We are the same way, with Love, All Things Are Possible!  That's what today was all about.......
Love!

For God so Loved the World that he gave his only begotten Son and whosoever believeth in him shall  nor parish but have Everlasting life!

My Prayer Today was to re-commit to Love.  My Alabaster Box is filled with Love Potion #9.

I Am anointed to heal with the touch of my hands, the sound of my voice and the actions of my life.  I will pour out my oil onto All so that my light may shine and I share the gifts God has given me!

Amen!

"Pray, Persist, Meditate & Empower........"

April 2, 2015

Pray:  1. to offer devout petition, praise, thanks, etc.  2. to make earnest petition to.

Persist:  1. to continue steadily or firmly in some state, purpose, or course of action, in spite of opposition or criticism.  2. to last or endure tenaciously.  3. to be insistent in a statement,  request, or question.

Meditate:  1. to engage in thought or contemplation; reflect.  2. to plan in the mind, intend.

Empower:  1. to give official or legal power or authority to.  2. to endow with an ability; enable.

The title of today's blog is exactly what we need to do on a daily basis, especially if we find that we're being challenged with insurmountable opposition.

The bible says that we are to Pray without ceasing.  In doing so, we're offering up our earnest and devout petitions before God.  I know that for myself when I do pray, give praise and thanksgiving, I find a sense of peace.  On the flip side, if I slack off there is no peace, the cares of life comes in and wreaks havoc.

I MUST be consistent with my prayer life.  I have to also be persistent, steadfast and tenacious so that I may endure the obstacles that may come into my life.

Another thing that works for me is Mediation, engaging in quiet time, with deliberate, intentional solitude.  It helps to shut off the chatter and find your place of refuge so that the gates of hell will not prevail.

When you take the time to be persistent with prayer and meditation you'll find yourself feeling empowered to face any storm that comes your way.  Prayer and Meditation are like the Wonder Twins of the Spirit.

Prayer and Meditation endows you with Super Natural Power & Authority to Kick The Devil's Ass!!!

We, the children of God are Heirs to the Kingdom sent here as Ambassadors from Heaven to Reign as King's and Queen's on Earth.  We must exercise our Authority and start living the Abundant Life that we inherited at Birth!

In Peace & Solidarity!
